The UNDEFEATED Paralympic Foundation formed from our need to help others and our penchant for sport. We want to help disabled sportspeople, in particular paralympians, as well as young and fit sportspeople who are on the threshold of their sport career.

It is true that more and more people declare their will to help the disabled, and we want to help them to put their declarations into life. The community of the disabled seems to be so hermetic and inaccessible. And these sportspeople are real fighters; they do not give up easily. They can always say that at least one competition is a win for them, i.e. the life competition. They tend to be very self-disciplined, patient, exceptionally valiant and, which may come as a surprise to some, very cheerful and optimistic. Frequently spending time with them, I wonder who benefits more from the meeting.

The Charter of the UNDEFEATED Paralympic Foundation does not provide for business operations, thus, the Foundation allots all the money and property it collects to fulfil its statutory objectives. We perform our functions in the Foundation for free to show our good intentions and transparent actions.

 

In addition, we aim to change the attitude of society to sport done by disabled people so that sports are not divided into better and worse categories. We would like each sport to trigger off positive emotions, a fighting spirit and healthy competition.

We have ambitious plans. We would like people who are under our care to reach the highest sport laurels. To accomplish this, they need good equipment and hundreds of hours of laborious exercises. We want to create conditions for them to achieve the best possible sport results.

We, the fit, may only imagine how much joy may victory in sport bring to persons who have not given up despite adversities. Yet it is difficult even to imagine how far and how hard it was for them to accomplish it.

We encourage all who know the taste of sport victories and understand how much joy and positive energy may be brought by them to assist us in our actions. Bożena Machalska, Management Board President
